Bodhi Simpson Headshot 2024.JPG

Bodhi Simpson is a visionary artist, art therapist, teacher, and author who incorporates work with imagination, compassion, creative expression, myth, and deep ecology. She enjoys reconnecting people with the magic and mystery of the mythic, symbolic, imaginal realms, and supporting the exploration of our relationship with our self and with Earth. She assists others in learning to “see” through the eyes of their hearts so that they may have an embodied encounter with life.

Bodhi believes that as we learn how to bring our hearts and minds into harmony, that we learn to become our own healers. She works with groups and individuals to teach tools and techniques that increase personal awareness and encourage full expression. Bodhi guides and supports individuals in exploring and discovering the method of expression that feels most comfortable for them so that they can develop their own personal daily self-care practices. Individuals learn how to listen with loving kindness and self-acceptance to the wisdom of their own hearts so that they are able to lead more vibrant, inspired, authentic lives.

Conscious Creativity

When we are engaging in "conscious creativity", we slow down and take the time to "express to become aware" of our emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and personal stories so that we can learn to take personal responsibility for our reactions and actions in a conscious way. Our creative expressions have an awakening function and can become a mirror so that we can "see" the energy that is creating our lives. We are able to stay grounded and present with our creative process so that we can feel safe to open to our vulnerability, turn toward the challenges and the pain, and face what has been hard to face.

Once we become aware of our beliefs and perspective of our personal experience, we are able to enter into a deep relationship with the senses of our physical bodies, and with the landscape around us. We can learn to use our imaginations not only for our own healing but also to open to infinite possibility and re-imagine a way forward for ourselves and for our world. When our imagination comes into coherence with our heart, compassion can guide our vision; we are able to consider not only ourselves, but the highest good for all. Our creative expressions are a bridge between this physical life and the unseen imaginal realms. We can connect to new visions and co-create a new story that not only supports our own healing, but also benefits Earth and all of life.
